Line Live is a live broadcasting platform, which started December 2015. The number of reported Viewers was 10 million in first month, and the total number of viewers is now more than 43 million. This is the first time for Line to start a video broadcasting service. Viewers can watch the content at anytime & anywhere for free, the app can show push notifications about the latest program information. In 2016, Line Live will put ads at the start and end of the program, like a TVCM. In addition, Line Live will collaborate with TV broadcasting companies, so advertisers can advertise both on mobile and on TV. It is a great opportunity to reach the target audience effectively. In the future, viewers will be able to upload videos as well, similar to Youtube.

The Line official account enables companies to communicate to many users, however for the Line business connect, it enables companies to change the conversation dependant on the user.
From September, 2015, Domino Pizza Japan started using Line business connect as a new channel to deliver the Pizza. Users can easily order pizza in a text conversation and do not have to call. This convenient style of ordering lead total sales 100 million in only 4 months. Yamato Transport Co., Ltd, a parcel delivery company, will also start using line business connect to improve convenience for customers on19th January 2016. Customers can now know when their parcel will arrive, and are able to request the redelivery via Line.

Time Line Ad
From December, 2015, Line started to put advertisements on the Line Time Line. It costs 5 million YEN per month and they expect 2 million imp and 60,000 clicks.
66% of the users of the time line are 18-34 years old. Advertisers can now easily reach a younger generation (18-34).
Line will be an essential marketing tool to connect users and marketers in 2016, as companies use Line business connect in order to enhance effectiveness.
