I think most of you are having shiniest summer except from those who are in the UK with me. I’m picking up a story from a hot country for the sake of ‘summer’.
South African ice tea brand, BOS, kicked off their unique sampling campaign of their product (ice tea of course) using what’s so familiar to Japanese people, vending machines.
When a customer tweets to @bos with a hashtag #BOSTWEET4T in front of their special vending machine, it spits out their new product with a message ‘Enjoy out of this world refreshment’ shown at the top electronic panel of the machine.
I like the concept of doing a real life installation with Social Media like Twitter. This might work well in Japan as vending machines are always huge business in Japan.
