Japanese fashion retail giant, United Arrows (http://www.united-arrows.co.jp/index.html), started a campaign “US TRANSFORM SHOW” in November. At every United Arrows branch, the staff wearing a special “stylist badge” help customers transform completely in 10 mins.
If you want their makeover, just pop by one of the branches and find staff with a special badge. You tell them what you’re looking for, such as “I want to look dandy”. The staff will then provide you with an in store head to toe makeover. You will then have your photo taken and shared on instagram.
The photos authorised by the customers are up on their campaign microsite along with celebrity makeovers including various big Japanese names, models and comedians. Also as a nice bonus if customers authorise their photos to be displayed on the microsite they’re gifted with the United Arrows book “UA KNOWS THE BEST”.
The campaign is being carried out at all the UA stores in Japan and the campaign photos are viewable by branch. Not everyone is happy to show their faces though. It is Japan after all.
