GREE has announced that they will start a collaboration with VOYAGE GROUP who specialise widely in new media, advertising technology, research and venture capital. This is to further reinforce the company’s services in the Social Media field.
GREE TV (Working title)
As part of the collaboration, they will be developing something called “GREE TV (working title)” utilising the functions from the famous two products: GREE’s Social Media platform “GREE” and “tuneTV”, the social TV app Genesix, created by the subsidiary of VOYAGE GROUP. GREE TV is a smartphone app aiming to provide a brand new TV experience.
This app allows users to interact with other users via commenting function and programme checkins. Users can enjoy the experience of watching TV more by sharing the moments with other users.
Reinforcement of the Social Media field
GREE has been working on number of different tactics to provide new ways of communication for society since 2004. They’ll be exploring further ways to reinforce their Social Media capabilities after this collaboration in order to provide various quality contents. It’s been reported that GREE’s will do this by collaborating with other power houses to become the number one community service provider.
